Each shade is measured, cut, and finished to your window — never trimmed to fit. Natural fibers, and a process designed to be tailored to your home or business.
Why ShadeSpaceCO
Every order begins with an on-site visit. We measure each opening, square, level, and reveal — then cut to a tolerance of 1.5 mm.
Choose blackout, semi blackout, or light-filtering fabric depending on how much privacy, glow, and room darkening each space needs.
Recessed brackets, fabric-wrapped valences, and matched cordless lifts. The shade should belong to the room — not announce itself.
Consultation, fabrication, and installation coordinated by a local team serving Southeast Michigan. No middlemen, no franchise pricing.
The Collection
Start with a material direction — we'll guide you through fabric, light, and hardware on your in-home visit. Our current website collection includes blackout, semi blackout, filtering, and translucent options where available, with width, drop, lift, mount, and trim selected for your room.

How to measure
We verify measurements during your in-home visit, but these steps help you plan room-by-room and understand the difference between inside and outside mounts.
Measure the window opening in three places for width and three places for height. Record the shortest width and longest height to the nearest 1/8 inch.
Measure the full area you want covered, including overlap beyond the frame. Choose the headrail height first, then measure down to the sill or endpoint.
Check frame depth, handles, locks, and any trim that may affect fit. We confirm product-specific clearance requirements during the consultation.
